Ireland:  2021 Love Booklet Pair MNH
The design for the 2021 stamp was strongly influenced by that used for the 2020 stamp,
because the latter was so well received as an uplifting message of love on personal post
at a time when people experienced the effects of the pandemic.
The design features a graphic
of the word ‘Love’ with a Love Hearts Sweet superimposed as the letter ‘O’. To give it a
distinctive Irish identity, the word ‘GRÁ’, meaning ‘LOVE’, in Irish, is written on the sweet.
Look out for another appealing aspect to the new stamp – a small heart shaped sticker
is included in a decorative sparkle foil with the stamp booklet. This can be lifted out and
stuck to the outer envelope to create a more unique look.
