What is Mexican Fire opal:-
Mexican Fire opals are transparent to translucent opals with warm body colors of yellow, orange, orange-yellow or red.
They do not usually show any play of color, (in contrast to Australian or Ethiopian fire opal, the term fire opal here is used to describe opals whose body color is predominantly of deep orange to red color) Although occasionally a stone will exhibit bright green flashes but normally these stones do not have any play of color.
The base color of the opal may look slight different when seen in natural daylight.
