Antique Black Native American Santa Clara Clay Smoking Pipe

Description

This is an antique Native American Santa Clara black clay smoking pipe. It is signed on bottom Birote, Santa Clara. It does have 2 cracks shown in photos 6, 8, and 10. There is a small spot on front top of the bowl where the glaze is missing photo 7. I don't know if the cracks are a repair. I do know it is structurally sound though. It is inscribed on the top and one side photos 4 and 5. It measures 8-1/2" long. Please examine the photos and form your own opinion.
