For your consideration:
An Art Deco designed Simplex Fluoroscope Foot X-ray Machine. These were used in shoe stores from the late 30s through the 60s, when the Us finally banned them. The unit has zero radiation power, unless you were to plug it in of course.
The unit is complete with Simplex power unit, cord and plate. It appears to be completely original all of the way through with no missing parts. There is some wear on the cabinet of the whole thing, but nothing that is too deep that it wouldn’t clean up just fine if you wanted to restore this.
These are fairly rare and in my opinion, the Simplex’s are the best designed of the fluoroscopes of this era, with its beautiful swooping, rounded lines. This would look amazing as a display piece is a home, office or just an oddities collection.
Because of weight and overall size, this is pickup only. However, I would be willing to deliver at a cost of .50/mile for the round trip.
