Double Layer Gathering
/ Shirring Foot
The underside of this foot is made so that only half of the foot
makes contact with your machine's feed dogs....This causes a gather in the fabric as you sew.
Foot can be used as a single layer shirring foot or as a double layer foot to attach extra
piece of fabric simultaneously to your Gathered fabric.
Its best  to set your machine's tension and stitch length to a
higher setting to help with the gathering affect.
