This listing is for a gorgeous Sterling Silver footed salt cellar with elaborate Repousse design made by Justis & Armiger during the last quarter of the 19th Century. Design features elaborately chased Repousse floral design with laurel wreath on rim. Silver is engraved on the bottom with fancy 2-letter monogram "N P". The salt cellar sits on three tall pad feet with leaves at top. Marked "Justis & Armiger, Sterling". Justis & Armiger were silversmiths in Baltimore MD from 1878-1892.
Measures 1 3/4" high with a 1 1/2" diameter top and 2 1/4" wide (from foot to foot). Weighs 65 grams.
This nice salt cellar is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
