    Description

    Wonderful Xhosa Beaded Neck Collar.
    This was brought back from South Africa in the early 1960's and has been put away until now.
    Closure Button is missing and one of the strings has come apart (see photo) maybe 3 beads missing, otherwise in great condition! I can attest to it being at least 57yrs old since it has been in my possession since 1964 when my sister brought it back with her.
    It measures approx. 16'' + 2" loop closure = 18".
    It looks similar to the one Nelson Mandela wore in his early pictures.
