Description
These two cast bronze doorknobs were made by Reading Hardware around 1891. The Victorian design combines aesthetic patterns and flowers in a complex array. The knob design was named "Elaine", and the artwork appears on the backs as well. Both are concave and have a linear drum-shape, and one has an original manufacturing defect on the lip. These handsome antique knobs are in very good condition with a dark patina. Popular then, collectible now.
Antique Norwich Doorknobs measure 2 1/4" diameter. Rod and rod screws included.
