Vic Firth has been making drumsticks for decades now, and they have great sticks for every different genre. They designed these 8D drumsticks, which are a little longer than the 7As, especially for lighter styles such as jazz.
The American Classic® line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. They're made of hickory wood and feature a wood tip that allows for a bright and intense cymbal response. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable. The tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response.
