Vintage African Beaded Ceremonial Tribal Hat

Description

This beaded African hat is from the estate of a collector of rare hats from around the world. I lost details of this piece but believe it to be ceremonial for a high ranking tribal member. Rows of hand strung beads (mainly orange but some yellow and white) are spiraled to make up the body. A fringe of beads and porcupine umbrella are detached from the hat.
