Vintage African Helmet Mask with Cowrie Shells

Vintage African Helmet Mask with Cowrie Shells.I don't know alot about this mask,  I do believe it to be real ,it has slight campfire smoke smell ,not cigarettes smell. It is definitely old but it is  structurally sound .its a very cool piece. The rough measurements are as follows
Botton of mask to top as the crow flys is 16 1/2
Widest part across the mask as tge crow flys 10 1/2
Inside diameter circle ( headband)24 1/2
From back of head to front as the crow flys 10 1/2
I see alot of hand tooling marks as well as materials that are not mass produced,  it seems to be all hand made ,again I believe this be be a real African headmask with that said I have not had it apprised or its authenticity validated.  It is a very neat piece and will look great with any decor.
