Vintage Very Rare Camille Daudon Bicycle
Top tube 55 cm c-t-c, Seat tube 55 c-t-crank. Handle bar 35 cm, Strong light crank, 650 wheels
Camille Daudon is considered the absolute top class of French constructeurs. He produced very few bikes (perhaps a few hundred) from post war through to 1952 in a shop near Champs Elysees. This one is from around 1948. It was serviced by  Peter Weigel and preserved in largely original condition with small  hole in top of left seat stay. Owned for a while by an American rider whose name is on the top of the head tube. A true museum quality unrestored bike that represents the state of the art in the early years after the war when randonneuring was becoming popular.
