Yale & Towne "Rice" design bronze brass Drum Shaped Knob antique mortise & plate

This Drum shaped knob is an unusual example of the Yale & Towne "No. 76 Rice" design.   This plate and mortise with this knob are both marked Y&T as well.  This drum version is not shown, but similar knob designs are shown on the Antique Doorknob Collector website as listing #D-11210 where it states: '
There were three variations of this design shown in the 1889 catalog. Fine workmanship.'
